Welcome to “The F.U.N.K Experience”. I say that because that is just what I hope this visit to this site will be for you….”AN EXPERIENCE” an online boutique experience with a little FUNK sprinkled in! Doesn’t that sound like FUN?  Thank you for considering to browse the many options you will find available to you during your experience within this website.  I know there are many other options out there to choose from, but whatever led you to this page I want to express my grand appreciation for your time in doing so.

“Introduction”

When possible it’s always good to know a little something about those who we do business, especially when making special things for our family of loved ones, we tend to carry it close at heart, and that’s just how I plan on treating you “like family” So, please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Karm (Kizzy) Covington (nice to meet you, please just call me “Kizzy”), I am the founder and creative designer for Fashionably U’Nique Kustom Kreations.  I am a native of Dallas, Texas where I am a single, work from home Mom to my three beautiful children, whom tend to drive me crazy at times (maybe you can relate), but I love them all the same, and wouldn’t trade them for the world. I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree and Accounting, MBA. I have a deep passion for crafting, decorating, and just having the opportunity to express my “creative” mind.

“Motivation”

It actually started out as a hobby of doing different arts & crafts, just a way of having some “ME” time, you know like therapy to help take off some of the stress of my day. You know it’s amazing how sometimes things can evolve into something we never could have imagined, not even in our wildest dreams.  That’s right….it just started out as a hobby and quickly developed into a “PASSION”! I started out in 2011, doing jewelry for close family & friends, the response became so overwhelming that it quickly grew into a full blown boutique. My inspiration continues to come from seeing the reactions of joy on my customers face, and just an overall continuing desire to make things that just look PRETTY!   I love to kreate kustomary items to fit your “unique style”, and I love to have the freedom of creative expression! I continue to work as a successful business owner with hopes of someday owning a store front business along with the online store. All items are kustom made by me, “Kizzy” and I look forward to the opportunity to kustom kreate something for our unique style.
